Meet Iszaha

I've never met an "Iszaha/Isaiah" before, and this one lives up to my expectations. Just look at that big beautiful smile!!!

I asked Iszaha if he had a favorite scripture, and he said no, so I'll share mine :) I love Isaiah 49:14-16, and I think 55:12 goes well with this last image.

A Gift of Love

Saturday morning, the ladies of the Henderson Nevada Eldorado Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints gathered for a morning of service. What a Beautiful Day

5 1/2 years ago, I watched these two tie the knot. Today I watched as they were sealed (see Matthew 16:19) to each other for all eternity in the Las Vegas Temple.
Also sealed to them were their two precious daughters who were so angelic in the Temple. To learn more about being families forever, click here.

Elder Ballard Quotes Anna Quindlen

Elder M. Russell Ballard gave a wonderfully beautiful talk this afternoon and I was pleasingly surprised to hear him quote Anna Quindlen about how fast children grow. After I had Jared, a friend gave this book to me as a baby shower gift. Anna's essays are eloquently written and Nick Kelsh's black & white photographs are stunning. The book is inspiring and is an excellent reminder to savor the baby years. And thank you Elder Ballard! Speaking of words of inspiration, I love how he pointed out that some people over-schedule and try to keep up with the Jones's. He reaffirmed everything I already felt (including things like I need to be nicer to my children because they will only be small for so long....). It's just nice to hear it from a prophet's voice.
